We are committed to enabling our members to find Christian friends and to enjoy one another’s company.

BCF encourages fellowship through chance and planned meetings whilst on the waterways. To facilitate this members receive the BCF logos to display on their boats, enabling instant recognition by other members. Members also receive a members directory (which is updated four times a year) and a Cruisers Contact List of members living near enough to a waterway to be invited aboard by those cruising through their neighbourhood.

We organise BCF get-togethers where members can meet one another, sometimes in someone’s home, sometimes on an outing or at a service. Details of these events are published in the BCF magazine The Word, produced four times a year.

We enable members without boats to be matched up with boaters needing crew through a scheme called Crew Connections.

Many of us have built strong friendships with other members through our involvement with BCF.
