We are committed to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to the waterways fraternity, and to being faithful witnesses for Jesus, demonstrated by our daily lives.

BCF supports, initiates or participates in services at boating events at both local and national level, often in cooperation with other churches.

We make ourselves available by running a stand at events, or by providing a hospitality boat, where people can come and talk to us.

BCF produces or provides a range of outreach literature appropriate to those we meet on the waterways.

We initiate outreach projects in conjunction with other churches, such as the Mission to the Heart in September 2005 and Come Aboard Mission in Tamworth September 2007. We are hoping to have another misssion in Staffordshire in 2009 in co-ordination with our affiliated charity - Canal Ministries.
